El Tiempo del Descuento is a spin-off of the celebrity version of Gran Hermano Spain.

Background

After the franchise was initially cancelled by Telecinco, production decided to reboot the show under a different name, featuring the housemates from Gran Hermano VIP 7 (Spain).

The main purpose of this season is to serve as a final chance for most of the GH VIP 7 cast to solve any pending issues they have between themselves and that stemmed from their time in the VIP season.
