Davide Silvestri is the runner-up of Grande Fratello VIP 6.
In the beginning of the game, Davide quickly became a fan favorite because of his humor and demeanor, which was criticized by some of his housemates as 'doing too much'. That allowed him to survive multiple public votes and find his footing in the game, forming friendships with Alex Belli, Soleil Sorge, and Katia Ricciarelli. Over time, however, he started to slide more and more under the radar, becoming less present in the main house dynamics and less interesting to the public. Despite this, Davide continued to focus on his social game, managing to escape eliminatory public votes from Week 5 to Week 19.
When the endgame started to approach, Davide became more apprehensive about strategy, and he was criticized by part of the public for his obsession over nominations and winning the game. This caused some friction between him and some the housemates as well, including Lulù Selassié and Nathaly Caldonazzo. His newly-found position back in the spotlight of the live shows helped him win key public votes, even against some of the main protagonists of the season, like Soleil and Miriana Trevisan. Reaching the final, Davide was involved in the first duel of the night and chose to face off against long-time rival Lulù, controversially winning over her as well, but he was ultimately defeated by Jessica Selassié in the final public vote of the season for the winner, placing 2nd overall on Day 183.
