After dropping out of high school in Year 10, Daniel managed to channel his intensity and turn it into a successful real estate business, tell-all book and motorcycle vlog, Million Dollar Bogan, plus he’s the proud owner of a $500,000 Ferrari – not that he’ll be telling the other housemates. Being underestimated is part of Daniel’s strategy. He’s deadly serious about winning Big Brother and is not going to hold back, planning to play hard, laugh hard and even love hard if need be. The single father-of-two does have a softer side and openly admits he wears his insides on his outsides. A serial fundraiser, if Daniel were to win he’d give a chunk of the prize money to the locals of Northern Laos, a country that has made a significant mark on him. First entering Big Brother in 2021, Danny’s game was a tumultuous and emotional journey, which ultimately saw him evicted on the second last day of the game, missing the crown by a thread. For a competitor like Danny, this was more heartbreaking than being evicted on the very first day. Danny Hayes is one of the biggest and most determined players to enter Big Brother’s house. He’s now had plenty of time to reflect on where his game strategy failed and returns with a fierce determination to win. Danny is a real estate mogul who manages numerous successful offices throughout Geelong. In his first year as an agent, Danny set a Victorian record for the number of homes sold. Playing the game of Big Brother for the second time, Danny has a “no holds barred” attitude. He says, “Some people are going to go in there to make friends. I’m not. I’m going in there to evict people. It’s my Hotel.” Playing the game of Big Brother for the second time, Danny has a ‘no holds barred’ attitude. When asked why he thinks Big Brother summoned him as a VIP, Danny says, “It’s not because I’m a very important person. It’s so I can wipe the grin off all those VIP faces. “And when they see me in there, they know there’s going to be a whole lot of carnage going down!” Danny is playing for the charity Lifeline. He says, “My brother struggled his whole life with mental health issues. I’ve had my own mental health issues, which I still must work on each day. “If I can win money for Lifeline, then it could help them help someone else. “Or help them change the trajectory someone is heading down. And maybe those who need the help can come back out of the darkness and into the sunlight.”[2] |
