Former AFL player Daniel is a loveable larrikin set to make his mark on Big Brother.
Daniel started playing footy when he was 13 years old, ending up as a ruckman for the Gold Coast Suns and then Carlton. Ever the joker, Daniel says he feels bad for the clubs that picked him up because you’ve gotta be able to get the ball – and he couldn’t get the ball!
This big, tall, class clown who was terrible at footy turned to a career in real estate, but a desire to push himself again, along with a little nudge from girlfriend Ana, saw him apply for Big Brother.
Daniel’s strategy coming into the house is to be his “unique, funny, weirdo” self and play to his strengths – making people laugh and being an honest, genuine guy. He expects to be the life of the party, entertaining the Housemates with his humour and antics.
People who are fake, annoying, or act like they are better than everyone else will grind Daniel’s gears. He admits he has a bit of a temper and can act on impulse but is hoping his time in the Big Brother house will help him mature as a man.
At the end of the day, Daniel just wants to see the people he cares about happy. If he were to win Big Brother, Daniel would use the prize money to help his family and mates out, take Ana on a holiday and put down a house deposit.
