The Crazy 8s was an alliance formed by the first eight houseguests to move into the Big Brother 16 house. It was made up of Amber Borzotra, Cody Calafiore, Devin Shepherd, Donny Thompson, Frankie Grande, Joey Van Pelt, Nicole Franzel, and Paola Shea.
Formation
The first 8 housguests realized that 8 more were coming and that they needed to stick together.
Downfall
Towards the middle of week one, the alliance went downhill. Frankie Grande decided to form an alliance with Caleb Reynolds which eventually expanded, with three other members of the Crazy 8's leaving for that alliance, the Bomb Squad. These other members are Amber Borzotra, Cody Calafiore, and Devin Shepherd. Caleb later nominated Donny Thompson and Paola Shea for eviction. After Donny won the Power of Veto, Joey Van Pelt was nominated as his replacement nominee and evicted unanimously. During the next week, Amber won HOH and nominated Nicole Franzel while Devin nominated Paola. Nicole and Hayden Voss won the Battle of the Block and dethroned Amber.
