Chelsie Marlene Baham is the winner of Big Brother 26 (US).

As a result of losing the Downgrade competition on Night 1, Chelsie started off at a disadvantage and in a vulnerable spot as she became ineligible to win safety in both Head of Household and Power of Veto competitions. However, using her social savviness, she was able to build connections with her fellow houseguests that kept her from being nominated. Opting to play a low profile game, she was able to stave off nominations, while also winning an AI Arena competition in between when she became Tucker Des Lauriers' backup target, but her key allies got evicted instead at the pre-jury stage, which relegated both Chelsie and her surviving ally Cam Sullivan-Brown to a precarious position coming in the jury stage. There, she formed a crucial game-lasting bond with Makensy Manbeck, which proved to be a decisive factor in Chelsie's survival through finale as both women were able to evict their enemies with their combined competition wins. On finale night, Chelsie's confident articulation of her strategic moves, social navigation and overall control of the game ultimately convinced the jury to award her the win, in a unanimous vote of 7-0, over her ally Makensy, making her as the first woman to win a Perfect Game in Big Brother history.

Why did you want to come onto Big Brother?
I want to compete on Big Brother, because I have been a super fan for the past 10 years. Me, my family, my siblings, will sit around the table, around on the couch during the summer and watch the game. And so I want to be one of those people playing the game. Not only just playing the game, winning the game. I'm a super fan, so I'm ready for the summer.

Why will you win Big Brother?
I'm gonna win Big Brother for a few reasons. Number one, I'm a super fan. But number two, I have a little mixture of a great social game, I believe, and I'm competitive. Put those two together, you got a winner!

What's your strategy going into the game?
The kind of game I'm gonna play in the Big Brother house is a really smart and strategic game. I'm gonna try to come in, build as many relationships as possible, try to not cause any fights, any riots, lay low. And then when I need a win, oh baby, I'm gonna win!

How will you make your mark this season?
I think I'll make my mark in the Big Brother house by going down and being a really smart player, but one who genuinely developed relationships with almost every single person in the house. You'll usually see your alliances. But for me, the mark I believe I'll make is being able to affect every single person in the house through relationships.B ut bar that. I don't want to be someone that is just good at forming relationships. I want to be good at competitions. I want to be someone that people love, but also someone that people are intimidated by. Like, "Whoa, this girl is nice, she's kind, she can develop relationships. But she's also competitive. What do we do with this girl? "That's how I want to leave my mark here.

What excites you the most about playing Big Brother?
What I'm most looking forward to is seeing who's in this house, getting to form alliances. But above all, I'm ready to compete in some games. I am competitive in nature. So bring on the games! I'm ready now.

How do you plan on manipulating the competition?
Listen, do I think I'm gonna manipulate the competition? This is Big Brother. There's always a little bit of manipulation that happens. It's the name of the game. So, if I have to withhold the truth or spread the truth, I gotta do what I gotta do to get to the end and win this game.

How would you describe yourself?
A few adjectives I would describe myself as [are] crazy, fun, loud, a little bit hood, a little bit holy, a little bit righteous, a little bit ratchet. All of that in one, that's me!

What do you think has made Big Brother last season after season?
What do you think has made Big Brother last season after season? I think the show was so popular because you have 16, 17 people who are very, very different in this house that come together, not only to compete, but we get to know each other, and we get to live together. And so I think it's so popular because people all across the globe get to see a little bit of them in one of the houseguests. We are everyday, ordinary people that love the game, love to have fun, and people love to watch that. That's why I think it's so popular.

What's on your Big Brother bucket list?
I have a few things on my bucket list. I want to start an alliance, I want to play in OTEV, and I want to get roasted by Zingbot.

What are your thoughts on Julie Chen Moonves? Do you have a favorite "Julie-ism"?
My favorite "Julie-ism" is "But first." I love when Julie says that. Like, come on, Julie! But first what?! Tell me now!

How are you feeling as you get ready to play Big Brother?
I've watched this Diary Room for ten plus years. What do you mean how does it feel?! It feels crazy. It feels surreal! Is this real? Somebody pinch me! That's how it feels.

How do you feel about backstabbing someone in the game?
My thoughts on backstabbing is, this is a game. This is Big Brother. You have to do a little bit of backstabbing in this game to make it very far. So you got to play the long game. You can't do too much backstabbing too early. But at certain points, you're gonna have to do a little dagger on somebody's back in order to make it to the end. So it's the name of the game, and somebody's gonna try to do it to me. So I'm gonna try to throw it right back at them.

What's the most iconic part of the Big Brother house?
I think what's iconic in this Big Brother house--that I wish I'm gonna find myself a lot in--is the HoH room. It is pure iconic. Are you kidding me? Bar the Diary Room; that is already iconic in and of itself. But that HoH room, I'm ready to reside in. I'm ready to see. I'm ready now!

Why will you be the houseguest to watch this season?
I will be the one to watch this summer, because you can't be in a conversation with me, you can't be in a room with me and not be entertained. Even if I don't say anything, my face, oh, baby, it's gonna say it all. So you'll see me in competitions, entertaining. You'll see me in conversation with other people, entertaining. You will see me in this diary room talking to you about these people, pure entertainment. Get your popcorn, get your candy, get your juice, get whatever you have. And get ready to be entertained by Chelsie! [1]
