Post Big Brother[]
- On April 12, 2006, Chantelle and fellow houseguest Samuel Preston got engaged.[2] They got married on August 25, 2006.
- They divorced in November 2007 after separating in June of that year.
- Chantelle said in a 2022 interview with New! Magazine that the two have remained friends.[3]
- In 2011, Chantelle got together with Celebrity Big Brother 7 (UK) winner Alex Reid.
- Chantelle appeared on This Morning alongside Grace Adams-Short and Mikey Dalton to promote Big Brother 20 (UK). They were interviewed about their experience on the show by Holly Willoughby and fellow Ultimate Big Brother housemate Josie Gibson.[6]
- During a 2023 interview with The Sun newspaper, Chantelle was asked if she would agree to participate in another season of Big Brother if an offer was made. She said: “Hell yes, I’d do Big Brother again, I’d be running there.”[7]
Trivia[]
- Chantelle was the only housemate in the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother to enter the house as a non-celebrity. She was given a task by Big Brother to convince her fellow housemates that she was the lead member of the fictional girl band Kandy Floss, which was popular in Japan. Failure to convince her fellow housemates would result in her being evicted from the house.
- As a result, Chantelle is the only non-celebrity housemate to win the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother.
- The song Chantelle performed in the house to convince her fellow housemates she was in a band, "Kandy Floss (I Want It All)", was released as a single in 2020 following the airing of Big Brother: Best Shows Ever.[8]
- In both seasons Chantelle competed in, she was nominated exactly once.
