Caged Eggs is a recurring Head of Household and Power of Veto competition.
Rules
Houseguests are located on one side of the wired fence and there is a pile of fragile objects, ususally eggs, next to the fence on the other side. Houseguests need to maneuver those eggs one by one to a certain destination while using their fingers. The first player to do so wins the competition.
On Big Brother 18 after maneuvering the egg instead of placing the egg to its slot houseguests needed to roll their eggs down the plank with the aim of knocking down three letters H, O and H.
History
United States
The competition was first used on Big Brother 11 as a Power of Veto competition. Houseguest Kevin Campbell won this competition, winning his first PoV of the season.
On Big Brother 12 this competition returned as a Head of Household competition. It was the only time when Christmas ornaments were used instead of eggs. Hayden Moss was the first one to put all 18 ornaments and a star in their slots, winning his third HoH.
The competition later appeared on Big Brother 15. Houseguest GinaMarie Zimmerman won the competition, winning her second HoH of the season.
The competition reappeared on Big Brother 16. Houseguests Cody Calafiore and Frankie Grande won the competition, winning their first and second HoH, respectively. However, Frankie was later on dethroned during that Week's Battle of the Block
The competition reappeared the following season, Big Brother 17, during Week 12. Houseguest Vanessa Rousso won the competition, winning her fourth permanent HoH of the season, while Liz Nolan won the luxury portion of the competition.
In its latest appearance, Big Brother 18, houseguest Victor Arroyo won the competition, winning his third HoH of the summer.
Canada
The competition was first used on Big Brother Canada 1. Eventual winner Jillian MacLaughlin won, winning her second HoH of the season.
