Bret Jackson was a finalist on Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010.

Bret first entered on Day 23 as part of the "Teenternationals" twist, wherein a group of foreign-born teens in the Philippines joined the season and competed against Team Pinoy, the remaining original teen housemates. He resided in the Apartment with his fellow Teenternational housemates.

Known for his youthful, boy-next-door charm, cheerfulness, and talent for singing, Bret quickly bonded with fellow Teenternational housemates. Over the weeks, he formed strong friendships with James Reid and Ryan Bang. Growing up in the province of Negros Oriental in the Visayas, Bret also became famous in the house for being a Visayan speaker and spoke Visayan more than Tagalog, and spoke Tagalog in a Visayan accent whenever he spoke the language. After surviving the second merge of the remaining Pinoy and Teenternational housemates lived under one roof, the Villa, Bret emerged as a determined teen housemate, a great team player, and one of Team Teenternational's trusted leaders, helping his team secure three slots for the Big Night finale. He also had a puppy-love romance with fellow housemate Fretzie Bercede.

Eventually, Bret reached the Big Night finale by being part of the Big Six. At the Big Night, Bret garnered 133,239 SMS votes or 14.68% of the total votes and was named the first "6th Big Placer" in Pinoy Big Brother history.

19-year-old Bret had been living in the Philippines for 7 years. In America, his life turned out to be ugly when he experienced living in an orphanage for years. His father was based in the Philippines so when his father left America, he went with him. His bond with his family is very tight that's why he never disrespects his parents, unless whenever he'll go out to go skateboarding. Bret is good at playing guitar as well as singing. Will Bret be able to get along with the other housemates because of his cheerful attitude or will he come out as a threat to them?

Music media brand Billboard expands to Philippines

After moving out of the Big Brother house, Bret entered Philippine entertainment as an actor and a song artist alongside batchmates-turned-celebrities James Reid, Ryan Bang, Ivan Dorschner, Devon Seron, Kazel Kinouchi, Yen Santos, and Patrick Sugui. Throughout the 2010s, Bret also pursued his acting career and starred in various TV series and Movies. Since then, he has moved on to pursue his music career. He initially signed a contract with Viva Artists agency, before transferring to Careless Music. As a music artist, Bret uses his professional name, KINGwAw.

  • In 2015, Bret starred in his first lead role in the romantic comedy-drama film Your Place or Mine? with Andi Eigenmann
  • In 2016, Bret starred in the lead role of Mercury in the comedy movie, Mercury Is Mine.
  • From 2016 to 2018, Bret starred in the horror mystery series, Class 3-C Has a Secret as Ash Flores.
  • In 2017, Bret promoted his collab single with James Reid and Sam Concepcion, On Top a single included in James' Palm Dreams album.
  • In 2017, Bret starred in the teen slasher-horror film, Darkroom.
  • In 2018, Bret made a special appearance as Private Simmons in the Philippine-American War epic film, Goyo: The Boy General
  • In 2020, Bret served as one of the composers and producers of Nadine Lustre's album, Wildest Dreams under record label Careless.
  • In 2021, Bret, in partnership with AGC Powerholdings Corp, launched 7640 Inc., a music and video production company catering to Filipino artists and brands. He also launched Paraisla, a record label under the company.
  • In 2023, Bret announced in a CNN Interview his new role as the editor-in-chief of music magazine Billboard's expansion to the Philippines, Billboard Philippines.

  • Bret is one of the only two caucasian contestants of Pinoy Big Brother, together with Carson Vince; Bret being born an American, and Carson was born a Canadian.
