Biga-10 Challenges is the major twist of Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10. The twist determined the Biga-10 housemates and the Ultimate Big 5 where one of them will become the season's Big Winner.

Format & Initial Selection[]

Not much information about the finals had been revealed until the Biga-10 Pasabog was introduced on Day 197 during the teen edition's fifth eviction night. It was announced that the first six Biga-10 spots will be occupied by the Top Twos of each batch. Then, the Biga-10 twist was finally announced—in which that Big Brother would open up four wildcard spots for the comeback housemates aside from the six to become a part of the season's Biga-10 housemates.

To determine the housemates that will get the last four spots, the seventh and eighth Biga-10 spots will be occupied by the Kumunity that places first on the Biga-10 Comeback Campaign, while the ninth and tenth Biga-10 spots will be occupied by one housemate of each of the two remaining Kumunities through two comeback challenges.

Once the Biga-10 housemates have been determined, the Biga-10 housemates will then compete thru Kumuni-Test for the five spots at stake for the Ultimate Big 5 in which one of them will become the season's Big Winner.

The Challenges[]

The Biga-10 challenges were composed of two parts; the comeback challenges in which the comeback housemates are only allowed to participate, and the Kumuni-Test where the Kumunity Top Twos and the comeback housemates are allowed to participate, representing their respective Kumunities.

Part 1: Comeback Challenges[]

Four of the six comeback housemates will compete for four wildcard spots to complete the Biga-10 Housemates via a series of challenges. The first two will be filled by the return housemates of a Kumunity on a Kumu campaign, with the remaining two determined by challenges. Housemates who fail a challenge will be evicted (except for the first challenge).

Biga-10 Comeback Campaign[]

On Day 212, the comeback housemates from each Kumunity were tasked to host their respective livestreams on Kumu at the same time as Big Brother has scheduled. During their respective live streams, viewers can send virtual gifts to a Kumunity of their choice. Only 25 virtual gifts will be accepted per account per day.

The campaign will run from May 15 to 17, 2022. The Kumunity that finishes first at the end of the campaign on May 17 (Day 214) will become the recipients of the seventh and eighth Biga-10 spots.

Day 216- Maxine at Stephanie, nagharap pa sa ika-siyam n puwesto ng Biga10 - PBB Kumunity

The first part of Maxine Trinidad and Stephanie Jordan's Biga-10 challenge.

On Day 216, Maxine and Stephanie, the two teen comeback housemates, must race to complete a puzzle in the activity area. First, they must open a box with three locks and keys placed at random in their respective stations. To unlock the keys and select another, they must walk across a thin platform. They must then proceed to the next station, where they must roll their assigned colored ball into a large pachinko board, which will serve as their timer while assembling their puzzles. They must then put together a puzzle while their ball falls to the bottom of the board. If their ball falls to the ground while they are putting together their puzzles, they will be penalized for one minute.

The housemate who completes their puzzle first will earn the ninth Biga-10 spot, while the other housemate who does not complete their puzzle will be evicted.

On Day 217, Brenda and Madam Inutz, the two celebrity comeback housemates, must try to place six balls on six specific targets on a runway labeled B, I, G, A, 1, and 0. They must roll the balls in the runway to precisely place them in their specific positions, starting from the farthest to the nearest. Once a ball has been placed in a specific target, they can begin rolling the next ball to the next target. The ball will only be counted if it reaches a specific target, no matter how close or far it is to its original position. If it lands too far or completely on the runway, it will not be counted.

The first housemate to successfully place all six balls wins the tenth and final Biga-10 spot, while the other housemate who fails to do so will be re-evicted.

Part 2: Kumuni-Test[]

Each Kumunity will compete in a three-part challenge known as the Kumuni-Test to determine this season's Ultimate Big 5. A certain number of points are at stake in each challenge; the winners of the first round receive 25 points, the winners of the second round receive 50 points, and the winners of the final round receive 75 points. If the scores of two or more Kumunities are ever tied, more challenges may be implemented. The Kumunity with the most points at the end of the challenges will be inducted into the Big 5. Challenges or voting will be implemented to determine the housemates that will occupy the vacant slot/s.

On Day 218, the housemates must race to successfully stack 12 layers of colored cups first against other Kumunities on their respective starting points. Once they stack their first layer, they must move their tray into the other point and stack the other layer there. They can then repeat this by stacking the other layers until all cups have been stacked. Two housemates will carry their tray while a housemate will stack their cups one at a time per point.

Each Kumunity has a power to freeze another Kumunity of their choice in stacking their cups for one minute. The Kumunity that successfully stacks 12 layers of cups first will get 25 Kumuni-Test points.

To score a point, they must successfully shoot a ball into the designated hole.

As with the previous challenge, each Kumunity retains the ability to stop another Kumunity of their choice from shooting their balls for three minutes. The Kumunity with the most balls shot will receive 50 Kumuni-Test points.

On Day 222, on this challenge named the Tumba Table Tournament, inspired by the Celebrities' Tumba Table weekly task, the three Kumunities must stack as many wooden blocks on a hanging table as they can balance on in two hours.

The first player must carry as many blocks as they can on a rod, then transfer the rod to the second player while walking through an obstacle course, which will then be transferred to the third player while the second player walks through a thin runway. When the third player (or all players if all blocks have been transferred) has finished, the wooden blocks can be placed on a hanging table.

The Kumunity with the most blocks transferred at the end of the challenge within two hours will receive 75 Kumuni-Test points. The housemates were not given powers for this challenge.

When they hear a bell that indicates the switch, they must take turns playing. The Kumunity with the most balls placed after one hour wins and secures their Kumunity three spots in the Ultimate Big 5, with the remaining two spots determined by public voting.

Trivia[]

  • Brenda Mage is the only non-Kumunity Top Two housemate to become a finalist. He ultimately finished his game in fifth place, garnering 1.19% of the total percentage of votes to win (out of 5).
  • After her defeat on grabbing the tenth Biga-10 spot, Madam Inutz cooked sinigang for the housemates to eat as a remembrance of her stay inside the house.
  • Despite winning the Biga-10 Comeback Challenge campaign, the Adults were the only Kumunity to score zero points on the Kumuni-Test. They failed to capture any of the points provided for each challenge. Therefore, only one of the five spots for the Ultimate Big 5 was given to them.
    • Isabel Laohoo captured the fourth Biga-10 spot and represented the Adult Kumunity in the finale. She would finish her game as the runner-up behind celebrity housemate and eventual winner Anji Salvacion on a huge percentage margin between the two.
    • The Adult housemates had a big advantage to claim the first four spots of the Ultimate Big 5 if they could have won the Kumuni-Test challenge. Should this situation have happened, then a housemate from either the Celebrities or the Teens would have to occupy the remaining slot (probably thru by public voting or a challenge against the two Kumunities).
