Big Brother 12 (UK) is the twelveth series of Big Brother UK and the first on Channel 5. The series ran for two months and two days in 2011 and at the end of 64 days, Aaron Allard-Morgan was crowned the winner of the season and Jay McKray as the runner-up.

House

The first look at the new big brother house was revealed after the prior Celebrity Big Brother had come to an end and featured underwater and forest themed aesthetics on the walls, as well as the bedroom making use fresh textiles and golden-framed furniture. In the bathroom there was a transparent double shower cabinet, as well as a large oval bath with a small pink sink. The bathroom's aesthetic was mainly pink and blue with a sofa and a clear view of goings on from both the living room and the garden. The garden featured an oblong pool, as well as some astro-turf and decking.
