Big Brother: Duplo Impacto (Portugal)

Big Brother: Duplo Impacto, which is translated to Big Brother: Double Impact, is the first all-star season of Big Brother Portugal and the seventh Portuguese all-star season overall.

The season premiered on January 3, 2021, with an eight-week season planned. However, on January 28, 2021, due to successful ratings, TVI extended the finale by three weeks, with the finale on March 21, 2021.^[1]

On February 5, 2021, due to satisfying ratings, TVI extended the finale for the second time, by three weeks, with the finale now on April 11, 2021. However, due to scheduling conflicts and the fact the the galas were moved to Saturdays, the finale was moved to March 27, 2021.^[2]

Background[]

After the success of the fifth and sixth seasons of the show, TVI announced that they would air an all-star season of the game. Both hosts of the show, Cláudio Ramos and Teresa Guilherme would present the show.^[3]
