Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack is a Celebrity Big Brother spin-off in January of 2008. The franchise decided to replace the Celebrity series that year due to the racism controversy the series before.

Twists

• Celebrity Hijacker(s): Different celebrities would come into the house and act as Big Brother for the day. The hijacker(s) would lead the housemates through tasks and Diary Room sessions. Once the hijacker(s) had done their duty for a day, they would leave the house and a new hijacker or hijackers would enter.
• Eternal Immunity: On opening night, Celebrity Hijaker Matt Lucas gave John a secret mission to do everything he instructed through an earpiece without anyone discovering. If he passed, he would get an automatic pass to the finals, however, if he failed the task, he would automatically be nominated for every eviction.
