Benjamin Norris is the winner of Big Brother Australia 9.
Benjamin made Australian television history for being one of the first LGBTQIA+ people to propose to his partner on Australian live television at the finale, five years prior to same-sex marriage being legalized in Australia. His proposal reignited discussion about legalizing same-sex marriage in the media and public. He is also the second housemate to propose marriage on Big Brother Australia, the first being Trevor Butler in Big Brother Australia 4.
