Bayleigh Amethyst Dayton[2] was a houseguest on Big Brother 20 (US) and Big Brother 22 (US).

In Big Brother 20 (US), Bayleigh was known for her showmance with Chris Williams, and aligned early with the ill-fated FOUTTE alliance. After losing her showmance in Week 2, Bayleigh laid low, secretly winning a power app and forming bonds with other houseguests. This continued until she won HOH in Week 5, where during her disastrous reign as HOH, Bayleigh told Rachel Swindler about her power app to establish trust, leading to Rachel telling her Level Six alliance about the power app. Deciding to target Brett Robinson (whom was a failed target of her alliance). After a miscommunication between Bayleigh, Rachel and Tyler Crispen, the Level Six alliance decided to turn on Rachel and keep Bayleigh’s target Brett in the house. Come eviction night, they were successful in blindsiding Bayleigh and her allies, and the following week, Bayleigh was lured into a false sense of security by HOH Angela Rummans. After deciding not to use her power app and save it, Bayleigh would be framed as the hacker for the week, resulting in Angela's backdoor attempt against her, proven successful at the POV meeting. After Haleigh Broucher called a house meeting, Bayleigh got into an explosive argument with Tyler. This would seal Bayleigh’s fate as she was later evicted by a vote of 6-1, placing 11th and becoming the first member of the jury.

In Big Brother 22 (US), Bayleigh found herself in a comfortable position in the first four weeks, finding herself friendly with Enzo Palumbo, Ian Terry, David Alexander, a previous foe in Tyler, and Da'Vonne Rogers, whom she created an alliance with. In Week 5, however, she notified HOH Christmas that her closest ally Da'Vonne was her "untouchable" (final 2 alliance), causing Christmas to nominate both of them. Angry that Christmas used their personal conversation to target her and Da'Vonne, Bayleigh would have an explosive feud with Christmas and get into a confrontation with her after arguing with Da’Vonne. Bayleigh would then be evicted that week by a unanimous 9-0 vote, placing 12th.

Bayleigh Dayton Biography

Age: 25
Hometown: Lees Summit, MO
Current city: Atlanta, GA
Occupation: Flight attendant
Three adjectives that describe you: Engulfing, adventurous, and unpredictable.
Favorite activities: Yoga (I am a certified yoga instructor), binge-watching random TV shows and Marvel movies (I'm a major Marvel girl), and traveling.
What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house?
Not psyching myself out. It's obviously a game and I am a competitor hands down, but I have seen how quickly people turn on one another, so it will be hard to trust anyone in there. Plus, I call people out in real life so keeping my thoughts to myself and not showing my reactions on my face is hard.

Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most?
I loveeeeeeee Donny Thompson. He is just the most fun-loving and sweet man ever. You rarely run across genuine hearts but he was as real as it gets.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
I want to be Miss Congeniality [and] not be fake or too nice. [I want to] just be that girl that people feel comfortable around but still dominates in the competitions. I want to stay clear of the drama and let the bombs self-destruct. But I also want everyone to fear me just a little. My dad always said that defense wins games. So let's just say, my D is going to be full coverage.
My life's motto is...
Learn to walk with kings and queens, but never lose the common touch. It's easy to start pumping your head up with nonsense when you feel like you've accomplished a little and I've seen a lot of people lose their head once they start succeeding. My goal is to always know where I come from and who I am supposed to be serving. A wise man once said, "Be humble. Sit down."
What would you take into the house and why?

  • My Bible because I need to stay close to God and keep my calm.
  • My yoga mat because I am absolutely sure that I will need to do some meditating in that house.
  • My camera! I want to capture the memories and, plus, I will need content for Instagram.

Fun facts about yourself:

  • I'm the first-ever African-American Miss Missouri.
  • I'm a closet "dweeb" who loves cartoons and Marvel Comics.
  • I was once was on a flight where the engine blew.
  • I get hit on every day while being a flight attendant.[3]

Age: 27
Hometown: Kansas City, Missouri
Current city: Los Angeles
Occupation: Model
Previous season: Big Brother 20. Bayleigh had a showmance with fellow Houseguest Swaggy C.; they're now married.
Three adjectives that describe you: Sassy, sensitive, and sporty.
Favorite activities: My favorite activities include yoga, playing with my dog (Velvet), and dates with my husband (Swaggy).
Why do you want to play Big Brother again?
The first time I played Big Brother, I was distracted by a showmance and a pregnancy. Now, I have no distractions and I'm ready to play.
What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house?
My only concern is not letting my emotions get to me. If I am irritated, people will know it. So, maintaining a good attitude and being nice will be my biggest hump.
Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most and why?
I love Janelle. I think she is beautiful, smart, and underrated.
What is your strategy for winning the game?
My strategy is to align with a strong competitor, keep my mouth shut, and play the social game! Be loveable, but non-threatening.
How does this strategy differ from the last time you played?
I didn't have a strategy last time I played. I just was going with the flow.
Have you changed/evolved since the last time you were on the show?
Since the last time I was on the show, I am so much more aware of my emotions and I have worked on my communication skills!
My life's motto is…
"Walk with Kings and Queens but never lose the common touch."
What would you take into the house and why?
-My bible
-My yoga mat
-My dog
Fun facts about yourself:
-I have been to all 50 states.
-I used to be a flight attendant.
-I am the only woman of color to ever be crowned Miss Missouri USA.
-I met my husband on television.

-I am a yoga instructor.[4]

    • Almost a year later, on New Year's Day 2020, they officially announced their marriage and started wearing their wedding rings.[7]
    • On May 25, 2022, Bayleigh announced that she was pregnant with their first child.[8] Their daughter, Alora Leigh Williams, was born on August 1 of that year, and they made the announcement on September 13.[9][10]

Bayleigh Challenge 35

Bayleigh's Cast Photo for The Challenge: Total Madness

  • Bayleigh competed on The Challenge: Total Madness[15] alongside Swaggy, Fessy, Kaycee, Josh, Celebrity Big Brother 18 (UK) winner Stephen Bear, and HaAh HaGadol VIP 3 winner Asaf Goren.[16] She ended up making it to the Final Challenge and tore her ACL during the first checkpoint. After surviving the first two checkpoints, the round winners were allowed to stay in a warm building and sleep while the others had to sit outside in the snow next to a fire all night. Bayleigh was one of the others, so this twist, alongside her injury, took too much of a toll on her, so she pulled herself from the Final, placing third out of the final four women and seventh out of all nine finalists.

Trivia[]

  • Bayleigh is the first houseguest to get pregnant while in the Big Brother house, as she and her Showmance partner, Chris Williams, conceived a child during Week 2 before his eviction. Bayleigh found out during Week 6, the day before she got nominated for eviction as a replacement nominee. Unfortunately, while in the Jury house, she suffered a miscarriage.[17]
  • Bayleigh revealed in a backyard interview that if Tyler and JC were the final 2, she would vote for Tyler.
  • Both times Bayleigh competed:
    • She cast exactly 4 votes to evict and all 4 of them were during the first 4 weeks of the game.
    • She got nominated only once and the HoH was a woman who also won POV that week. Those women were Angela Rummans and Christmas Abbott. She would eventually be evicted in those nominations.
    • She was always nominated against an ally.
    • She played with Tyler Crispen.
  • Bayleigh was originally recruited for Survivor prior to appearing Big Brother.
