A member of Team Destiny, Austin was known for her close friendship with Breydon White and showmance with Kyle Moore. She also developed relationships with Julie Vu and Rohan Kapoor. In Week 2, she became the first Head of Household of the season and nominated house target Josh Farnworth and Kiefer Collison. After Kiefer won the Power of Veto, he and The Sunsetters attempted to flip the vote on Austin’s replacement nominee Rohan, but were unsuccessful. Feeling betrayed, she joined the counter alliance The Oddballs. Austin subsequently became a big target for The Sunsetters due to being a competitive threat.
While Austin survived eviction against her ally Kyle Moore during week 4, a twist called the Invisible HoH in which the result of the HoH competition would be hidden from all houseguests proved fatal to her game. The Invisible HoH, Victoria Woghiren, used this as the chance to nominate her allies Austin and Breydon as she felt they were betrayed by the duo during the previous week. While Austin's ally Rohan won the POV, he chose not to use it on either of the nominees despite promising to. As such, Austin was left on the block with Breydon and being deemed as the bigger target between the two, she was then evicted by a 7-0 vote, placing 10th and becoming the final member of the pre-jury.
