Ann is full Chinese, her mother is of Taiwanese-Chinese descent while his father is a Chinese and has been living in the Philippines for a very long time. Ann was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Their life became challenging until her aunt became famous in Taiwan whom later helped them when her aunt became a celebrity in Taiwan.
Ann is fluent in Visayan language since it's her first language. Albeit having Chinese parents, she wasn't fluent in speaking Chinese because she grew up in the Philippines.
Ann admitted that she's not an academic-person, she prefers learning other stuff such as jazz, ballet, figure skating, acting, etc. Inamin ni Ann na hindi siya academic-person, mas hilig daw niya ang matuto ng ibang bagay tulad ng jazz, ballet, figure skating, acting etc.
With Ann's many talents, it seemed that she has many friends that are amazed by her, but when she was still studying in a private school in Manila, she experienced extreme bullying from her classmates. Right now, she's homeschooled to stay away from any trouble.
