Ankit Gupta was a housemate on Bigg Boss 16 (Hindi).
One of the main protagonists of the season, Ankit was a massive fan favourite; his friendship and showmance with Priyanka Choudhary, his savage one-liners, and his friendship with Archana Gautam, Gautam Vig, Sajid Khan, Soundarya Sharma and Sreejita De were the main highlights of his journey.
Though having a humble nature, Ankit didn't shy away from conflicts; Slamming Priyanka for always controlling his game, taking a stand against Haq se Mandali members Altaf Shaikh, Shiv Thakare and Nimrit Ahluwalia, and turning against his allies Archana and Soundarya.
His journey came to an end on Day 85 after he was voted out by the majority of his housemates, with only Priyanka and Sajid campaigning to save him and his friends-turned-enemies Archana and Soundarya orchestrating his eviction. However, the public did not agree with the decision of the housemates and demanded makers to bring him back, as he was receiving a lot of votes and support from the public. However, the public's demand was rejected and he was never brought back to the show, ultimately ending his journey in 14th place.
