Entering the show as a pair with Arvind Vegda, Ankit was already in the headlines for his alleged past relationship with co housemate, Roopal Tyagi. He started off with a slow game and was hardly seen throughout the week.
On Day 2, he was nominated by his fellow housemates as they felt he was not doing anything interesting in the show. He had a few conflicts with Roopal due to their past connection.
