Andrea Zelletta was a housemate on Grande Fratello VIP 5.
Andrea focused his experience in the House on cultivating friendships and relationships, at times seemingly hiding from the main house dynamics. This caused the birth of the running joke of him being a 'bedside table' rather than a contestant, which was started online by fans but became known and used by the housemates and columnists as well. Despite this, Andrea started gaining the support of the public, both thanks to his friendship with fan favorites Tommaso Zorzi and Stefania Orlando, and thanks to his positive and ironic attitude. His social game proved successful as he managed to avoid being up for elimination during the last two months of the show, but once he stood out as the only contestant not to be named a finalist by the public, he had to choose one of the remaining four to face as the first duel of the finale. Wanting to face off against who he thought was the strongest competitor, Andrea chose to challenge eventual winner Tommaso Zorzi; the decision was well received by the public and deemed brave, but ultimately Andrea was eliminated against Tommaso, finishing in 5th place.
