Aljon Mendoza is a teen housemate in the first chapter of Pinoy Big Brother 8.
Aljon was among the second set of four potential male housemates introduced. Aljon became the second official male housemate after winning the second Housemate Selection challenge against 3 fellow male potential housemates.
Aljon was evicted from the game on day 30 after he was disqualified from participating the Ligtask challenge due to his auto-nomination, with 22.13% of the votes. However, he entered Camp StarHunt on day 37 to become a House Player.

 Aljon is a 17 year-old from Pampanga and lives in a town where floods are a typical occurrence. His family owns a general store and a videoke rental business. Despite having a complete family and being a school achiever, Aljon is still having a hard time getting out of his shell. To overcome his shyness, he decided to join his school's broadcasting club where they compete with other schools which eventually gave him a better self-esteem. |
