100 Seconds Encounter is a twist and a luxury reward first introduced in Pinoy Big Brother 1.
This reward gives the housemates a chance to reunite and talk with their loved ones inside the Diary Room within the 100 second limit.
In order to receive this reward, they must succeed on either a special or a secret task given by Big Brother.
However, in some cases, Big Brother simply gives this reward to a housemate for various reasons without the need of completing a task especially if one of the housemate's life story is being highlighted in an episode or if someone celebrates his/her birthday inside the Big Brother House.
Bruce got the chance to talk to his ex-girlfriend after his ex-girlfriend won in the "Battle of the Exes" game against, Gee-Ann Abrahan's ex-boyfriend and Beatriz Saw's ex-boyfriend.
As part of winning their final special task, the Celebrity Big Four was given a reward by Big Brother, just a day before they depart the house for the season's Big Night
Had a 100-second video call with her father for successfully accomplishing her special tutor task to an unknown fan who was eventually revealed to be her father.
Trivia[]
Say Alonzo is the first ever housemate to receive the 100 Seconds Encounter.
During Week 11 of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010, the female teen housemates had a special where if they succeeded, the male teen housemates (except Ivan Dorschner) would get to talk with their fathers for the Father's Day Celebration. Among the four remaining male teens, only Bret Jackson got to have a 100 second encounter with his father, while the James Reid's and Ryan Bang's fathers only sent a voicemail because they weren't able to visit.
One special task during Pinoy Big Brother: 737's Civilian Chapter was named after the twist and was called as the "100 Seconds Starring Encounter Show" starring Jyo Yokoyama and Miho Nishida who both grew up in Japan while the rest of the house must create a small skit for them.
