Bea looked disappointed lmao
I totally see what ITV are doing, they've put CBB on ITV1 so more ppl will watch it because celebrity reality shows do super well in the UK, then more people will watch the civilian version and if the ratings are good, they'll bump civilian BB up to ITV1.
Nvm the ratings are actually really good, the first week's episodes have been over 2 million and peaking at 3 million!
The producers are fixing it and the ratings havent been great
Want to add BBUK to the original subject of this thread, it's flopping tbh lol
Just a thought may never happen but what if they started casting *normal* people instead of celebrities' kids. People who have been through shit and have had experiences, maybe the show would be a bit more interesting. However GF could be like BBUK, no matter how good the cast, people are just tired of the show and have made their minds up about it without watching these better seasons.
It's kind of obvious that they are rushing to end the series. The next eviction is on Day 190, meaning 7 days are left with 12 housemates, so basically everyday after Day 190 they will have to do an eviction to get down to 6 (because there will probably be an eviction on the final day) unless they do doubles or more finalists, idk it seems super off like I get the vibe they were going for a 30-32 week series and then binned it a bit like how GF12 was supposed to be 29 weeks.
The format needs seriously re-worked, it's one of the worst in Big Brother worldwide. It needs to be more basic with housemates nominating and public evicting with maybe the public saving their favourite housemate at the start of the week. No public votes for auto nomination, no finalist votes, just basic Big Brother, reintroduce tasks as the housemates are bored af in there without them.
The ratings were god awful, GFVIP7 already had a drop from GFVIP6, but once such a popular show falls into the 2m+ viewership, it's sort of the start of the end, the show needs a fix quickly because of this "super edition" coming up in September.
Ngl I was kinda hoping they'd do 222 days just so they could break their record of longest season but oh well, I just know they saw the ratings and were like, yeah let's rush this out.
There are more housemates than days lmao
Surprised it's coming back, the ratings weren't amazing and they literally brought back like half the evictees lmfao, hopefully this time they can fix the show up a bit and not go so twist heavy.
I've heard it'll end next century, I don't believe that though, maybe at the turn of the millennium, still very 50/50.
They should downsize, Big Brother's about living in a house not an exhibition centre, besides they already have enough luxuries, the article says there are will be 2 bathrooms which is basically a waste of money like this channel must be loaded. This "super-edition" will probably be at least 250 days because GF17 will probs be 222. Ngl I'm really hoping they have 40 housemates because I was disappointed when GFVIP6 didn't lol.
Big Brother Germany is crying girl. GF never knows when to stop. 💀
It's giving Bigg Boss cancelling an 11 nominee eviction because 1 of their faves are nominated as if they don't decide the evictions themselves 💀
The format is the worst BB format I've seen, it's incredibly broken and has alot of favouritism in it.
Ngl they need to do a 3 month civilian series next summer, no 3 month extensions, revise the format and re-introduce tasks. When I say civilians, I don't mean influencers and relatives of a celebrity. I know I say this about nearly every franchise, but BBUK did it and that series was good.
When the doing 200 day series every 5-6 months catches up on you:
